The three-day Indo-French Workshop on Functional Materials for Emerging Applications (IFWFEA 2025) commenced at Mahatma Gandhi University. Vice Chancellor Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar inaugurated the event and released the workshop proceedings.

Reji Zachariah, Dr. Aurelien Bruyant, the French Coordinator from the University of Technology of Troyes, France, Prof. Isabelle Royaud from Institut Jean Lamour, France, Prof. Dr. Nandakumar Kalarikkal, the Indian Coordinator of IFWFEA 2025 and Director of the International Centre for Ultrafast Studies, MGU, Dr. Parvathy Nancy from Mahatma Gandhi University, and Dr. Anisha Gokarna from the University of Technology of Troyes, France addressed the gathering.
