C. Jayalakshmi, a postgraduate student at Mahatma Gandhi University, has been awarded a prestigious research grant from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She will receive 48,000 UAE Dirhams (Rs. 11.39 lakh) to support her research on the energy applications of nanostructured carbon materials.
A student of M.Tech. in Energy Science and Technology at the School of Energy Materials, Jayalakshmi will carry out her research at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Khalifa University, UAE, for one year. She hails from Vaikom.
