MGU to Host International Child Rights Practicum 2025

Mahatma Gandhi University is set to host the International Child Rights Practicum 2025, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness and fostering discussions on child rights. The practicum will be held from March 19 to 28 at the university.

The event is being organised jointly by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Chair for Studies on National Integration at the School of Pedagogical Sciences, Child Rights Centre, Mar Ivanios Law College, Chengannur, Centre for Research in Child Rights and Development, and Kanjikuzhi Block Panchayat, Alappuzha District.

Bringing together experts, volunteers, and child rights activists from across the world, the practicum will focus on existing national and international child rights laws, best practices, and the role of education in child protection. It will feature interactive training sessions, panel discussions, and field visits to provide practical insights into child rights advocacy.
