Seed funding for start-ups at MG University

Mahatma Gandhi University Innovation Foundation (MGUIF) aims to empower start-ups providing financial support on their journey from innovative ideas to successful ventures. Start-ups can now apply for the foundation’s seed funding.The foundation, which began its dynamic journey two years ago on the vibrant University campus, has already nurtured 13 thriving enterprises, including those which have crossed one crore in turnover. Seed funding is available for product or service development, testing and trials, marketing, IPR related expenses and working capital.

Up to ten lakh rupees is given to develop a marketable product or service into a good enterprise. There are facilities for those who join this incubation programme, where they have the option to work virtually or in the co-working space provided. Both categories are permitted to use the MGUIF address for their new ventures. Start-ups choosing incubation with co-Working at MGUIF can benefit from modern office amenities and cutting-edge technology facilities, all available on a monthly rental basis. Additionally, the prestigious MGUIF address can be utilised as the company’s official address, significantly reducing overhead costs during the critical early stages when revenue streams are still developing.

Established in 2019, MGUIF is a non-profit organisation created to transform innovative business ideas into successful enterprises. It is working under the guidance of RUSA Project, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
